We are raising funds to save our archival shelving system and need your help. Donate to our Emergency Shelving Upgrade Campaign today!
HELP!!! Our shelves are losing their shelf life! The Lutheran Archives Center relies on high-density mobile shelving to store thousands and thousands of records. This space-saving system is essential to store these records as efficiently as possible. Unfortunately, the electronics that run the system are nearly twenty years old and starting to break down. Watch this video as our archivist, Sheila Joy, explains the problem. The cost to install new electronics and recalibrate the mobile shelving is nearly $30,000. We are launching an emergency fundraising campaign to help offset this cost.
Please help us in our mission to preserve the history of the Lutheran Church in America and donate today to our emergency fund drive via the link below. All donations are fully tax deductible.
